Weight Loss
Our weight loss programs are tailored to your body’s needs using lab-guided plans, and, when appropriate, medications like GLP-1s to support appetite regulation and metabolism.
We offer GLP-1 receptor agonists such as Semaglutide (Ozempic®, Wegovy®) and Tirzepatide (Mounjaro®)—proven tools that regulate appetite, slow digestion, and support long-term weight reduction.
These medications mimic a natural hormone (GLP-1) that tells your brain you’re full, helps control blood sugar, reduces insulin resistance, and reduces cravings—making it easier to eat less and feel satisfied.
Results vary, but many patients lose 15–20% of their body weight over time when medications are combined with nutritional support, activity changes, and consistent medical monitoring.
Many patients notice reduced appetite and small weight changes within the first few weeks. Meaningful, sustainable weight loss typically builds over several months.
Not at all. GLP-1 medications are clinically proven and FDA-approved for chronic weight management. When prescribed responsibly, they offer a powerful alternative to unsustainable dieting. While the weight loss benefits are a fairly recent application of GLP-1’s, these medications have been used in diabetes treatments for decades.
GLP-1 medications were originally developed for type 2 diabetes but have since been approved for weight loss in non-diabetic individuals. They are safe and effective when prescribed for the right reasons.
Weight regain is possible if you return to old habits. That’s why Peak Medical combines medication with coaching, labs, and lifestyle tools to help you maintain your progress long-term.
Not necessarily. We evaluate your BMI, medical history, and personal health goals. Many patients with pre-diabetes, insulin resistance, or hormone-related weight gain qualify even if they don’t meet the traditional “obesity” criteria.
Yes, in most cases. In fact, GLP-1s may offer cardiovascular benefits in addition to weight loss. We always review your health history to ensure the safest treatment plan.
Many patients see improvements in blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar levels as they lose weight. We monitor these markers through labs and check-ins during your treatment.
Both medications are typically given as once-weekly injections. You’ll receive guidance and support from our clinical team to administer them at home or in the office.
Coverage varies. Some plans may cover them for patients with type 2 diabetes, but not for weight loss. Peak Medical offers affordable cash-pay options and we’re happy to discuss costs during your consultation.
The most common side effects are nausea, bloating, or constipation, which usually resolve as your body adjusts. We monitor you closely and can adjust your dose or offer supportive care if needed.
Hormone Therapy
Yes. We offer “BHRT” for both men and women, using plant-based bioidentical hormones to support energy, mood, libido, and healthy aging.
BHRT uses hormones that are molecularly identical to those produced by your body. They are custom-dosed through a compound pharmacy to your specific needs and help restore balance for improved mood, sleep, metabolism, and more.
Unlike synthetic hormone treatments, bioidentical hormones are customized for each patient and designed to closely mimic your body’s natural hormones—leading to fewer side effects and better symptom relief.
BHRT can be delivered via creams, capsules, troches, or pellets. Your provider will recommend the best delivery method based on your needs and preferences.
Not necessarily. Some men and women choose to stay on therapy long-term to maintain their results, while others cycle off or adjust their plan with lifestyle changes. We’ll work with you to find the right long-term approach.
We are a cash-pay clinic and do not bill insurance directly, but we can provide documentation for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
Absolutely. Many of our patients come to us with normal labs but unresolved symptoms. We go deeper to identify functional imbalances that standard testing often overlooks.
Hormone Imbalance in Men
Absolutely — men experience hormone imbalances too, especially as they age. Testosterone and other key hormones naturally decline over time, leading to symptoms that many men don’t realize are hormone-related.
Common symptoms include:
-
Low energy or fatigue
-
Loss of muscle mass
-
Increased belly fat
-
Brain fog or memory issues
-
Decreased sex drive
-
Erectile dysfunction
-
Mood swings or irritability
-
Trouble sleeping
Testosterone levels can start declining as early as age 30, with a more noticeable drop in the 40s and beyond. However, hormone imbalances can affect younger men too, especially under chronic stress or with poor lifestyle habits.
The best way to know is through a simple blood test. At Peak Medical, we use advanced lab panels to evaluate not only testosterone but also other hormones like DHEA, cortisol, and thyroid levels that affect overall vitality.
In most cases, yes. Your provider will give you instructions prior to your lab draw, including whether fasting is required for accurate results.
When hormones are restored to optimal levels, men often report:
-
More energy and motivation
-
Improved sexual performance and libido
-
Easier fat loss and muscle gain
-
Better sleep and mood
-
Sharper mental focus
When monitored by a trained provider, testosterone therapy is generally safe and highly effective. At Peak Medical, we tailor each plan based on lab values, symptoms, and long-term health goals.
Yes! Nutrition, sleep, stress, and physical activity all play a role in hormone health. That’s why Peak Medical provides a holistic treatment plan—not just a prescription.
Hormone Imbalance in Women
Hormone imbalances can cause a wide range of symptoms, including:
-
Fatigue or low energy
-
Mood swings or anxiety
-
Trouble sleeping
-
Irregular periods or heavy bleeding
-
Hot flashes or night sweats
-
Weight gain (especially around the middle)
-
Brain fog or memory lapses
-
Low sex drive
-
Vaginal dryness
While hormone changes are a natural part of aging, symptoms don’t have to be “just part of life.” At Peak Medical, we help women feel like themselves again with personalized, evidence-based treatment.
Yes. Hormonal disruptions can happen at any age due to stress, birth control, PCOS, thyroid issues, perimenopause, or other health conditions.
We start with a thorough consultation and lab testing to evaluate key hormones like estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, cortisol, and thyroid function. Your symptoms and lifestyle are also taken into account.
Yes. Our providers can interpret lab results in the context of your medications and life stage, and still create a personalized plan to support your health.
BHRT is especially effective for:
-
Menopause and perimenopause symptoms
-
PMS or irregular cycles
-
Thyroid dysfunction
-
Low libido
-
Mood instability and sleep disturbances
Many women start to notice improvements within a few weeks, but optimal results may take 6–12 weeks as your body adjusts.
No. We treat women in all stages of life—from those with PMS or PCOS to those navigating perimenopause or full menopause.

Yes. We specialize in identifying and managing both overt and subclinical thyroid imbalances—especially in patients who’ve been told their levels are “normal” but still experience symptoms.
Absolutely. We offer comprehensive hormone testing and treatment plans for women going through hormonal transitions.
Aesthetic Treatments
We offer a variety of non-surgical aesthetic services including Botox®, dermal fillers, chemical peels, microneedling, skin resurfacing, and professional-grade skincare. Each treatment is customized to your skin’s unique needs.
Yes, we always start with a personalized consultation to understand your skin goals, assess your needs, and recommend the most effective treatment plan.
Absolutely. All procedures are performed by trained medical professionals using clinically proven, FDA-approved products and protocols.
Botox temporarily relaxes facial muscles to smooth out fine lines and wrinkles, especially on the forehead, between the brows, and around the eyes (crow’s feet).
Most people see results within a few days, and the effects typically last 3 to 4 months.
Botox reduces muscle movement to smooth dynamic wrinkles. Fillers add volume and structure to areas like the cheeks, lips, and jawline, and smooth out static wrinkles.
We commonly use fillers to enhance lips, lift cheeks, define the jawline, and fill in smile lines (nasolabial folds) or marionette lines.
Depending on the type of filler and treatment area, results can last from 6 months to 2 years.
Not at all. Our aesthetic philosophy is to enhance your natural beauty with subtle, balanced results that look refreshed—not “done.”
Microneedling creates micro-injuries in the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin production. It’s effective for fine lines, acne scars, large pores, and overall skin texture and tone.
Most patients benefit from a series of 3 to 6 sessions spaced about 4 weeks apart, followed by maintenance treatments as needed.
We offer light to medium-depth peels to target dull skin, pigmentation, acne, and uneven texture. Your provider will select the best peel for your skin type and goals.
Yes. We offer professional skincare lines with high-potency ingredients to support your treatment results and maintain healthy, radiant skin at home.
Some treatments like Botox and fillers require minimal downtime, while microneedling or chemical peels may involve a few days of redness or peeling. We’ll guide you through post-care for optimal healing and results.
During your consultation, we’ll evaluate your skin, discuss your goals, and recommend a personalized plan that fits your lifestyle, skin type, and desired results.
Thyroid Treatment & Optimization
Your thyroid is a small, butterfly-shaped gland in your neck that controls metabolism, energy levels, temperature regulation, and even mood. When it’s out of balance, you can feel it—everywhere.
Common symptoms include:
- Fatigue
- Weight gain
- Brain fog
- Depression or mood swings
- Dry skin and brittle hair
- Constipation
- Cold hands and feet
- Menstrual irregularities
It can stem from autoimmune conditions like Hashimoto’s, stress, nutrient deficiencies (like iodine or selenium), hormonal imbalances, or even chronic inflammation.
Yes. Many traditional providers only test TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone). At Peak Medical, we run a comprehensive thyroid panel that includes:
- Free T3
- Free T4
- Reverse T3
- TSH
Thyroid antibodies (TPO and TgAb)
This gives a full picture of how your thyroid is functioning and whether your body is actually converting hormones effectively.
TSH is a signal from your brain telling your thyroid to make hormones—but it doesn’t reflect how much active hormone is in your bloodstream. Free T3 is the active hormone your cells actually use to generate energy and regulate metabolism.
We offer personalized treatment plans that may include:
- Bioidentical thyroid medications (T3 and/or T4)
- Nutritional and lifestyle support
- Supplementation to support hormone conversion and reduce inflammation
- Monitoring of autoimmune markers and underlying triggers
We offer both and tailor treatment to the individual. Options include desiccated thyroid (like Armour or NP Thyroid), synthetic T4 (Levothyroxine), T3 (Cytomel), or custom-compounded blends.
Many patients feel improvements within a few weeks, but full thyroid optimization can take several months of careful adjustments and monitoring.
Not always. Some thyroid issues are reversible—especially if they’re caused by lifestyle factors, nutrient deficiencies, or temporary inflammation. Others, like Hashimoto’s, may require long-term support. We reassess regularly.
Initially, labs are done every 6–8 weeks to guide dosing. Once stabilized, monitoring may shift to every 3–6 months depending on your case.
Yes! At Peak Medical, we take a functional medicine approach—addressing nutrition, gut health, sleep, stress, and inflammation—all of which impact thyroid performance.
We go beyond standard labs and symptom suppression. Our team is trained to identify subtle imbalances, autoimmune triggers, and hormonal interconnections. You’ll receive personalized, whole-person care with advanced testing and integrative therapies.
